Amazon India too has started teasing the phone, putting a placeholder on its website telling people that the OnePlus 6T is coming soon.If the rumours are to be believed, the company may unveil the smartphone on October 17. Ahead of the official launch event, the internet is buzzing with details about the upcoming device. On Thursday, fresh renders of the phone leaked, confirming a few more key details on about it. Then recently OnePlus co-founder Carl Pei confirmed the company will ditch the conventional 3.5mm jack in the OnePlus 6T.Now, fresh images of a transparent TPU case leaked online seem to be confirming this fact. Besides confirming the absence of the headphone jack, the images of the case leaked on SlashLeaks also seem to be giving useful insights about the design of the upcoming smartphone. For starters, the OnePlus 6T, just like its predecessor will have a vertically stacked rear camera setup. And no, there will not be three cameras in the OnePlus 6T, as rumoured earlier.Besides this, OnePlus in an email to CNET earlier confirmed that the phone would come with an in-display fingerprint sensor. Incidentally, this leak is in line with the image of the transparent case leaked on SlashLeaks, which seems to add another layer of confirmation to the report.– There are rumours that the OnePlus 6T may come with IP67 or the IP68 rating for sporting a water and dust-resistant body. Earlier OnePlus had said that even the OnePlus 6 was for all practical purposes a water-resistant phone. But it lacked the IP certification.– Dash charging, features like reading mode that are part of the Oxygen OS will be definitely there in the OnePlus 6T.Specifications– As far as the design is concerned, the OnePlus 6T is likely to be slightly larger in size than its predecessor. While the OnePlus 6 featured a 6.28-inch screen, the OnePlus 6T is likely to sport a bigger 6.4-inch panel.
