first_imgNaomh Colmcille GAA News:The Naomh Colmcille U12 girls created created club history on Saturday when they took part in the club’s first ever girls competitive match. The girls traveled to Muff to take on Naomh Padraig.Pre-match excitement turned to post-match joy. After a wonderful team performance in which every girl played their part, the girls emerged with a terrific victory. Eimear McBrearty has the distinction of getting the club’s first ever score in a girls competitive fixture. Well done to all the girls involved and their coaches, Patricia McAuley and Nicole McGrath.The team was Rachel McDaid, Orla McGrath, Niamh Monaghan, Aine Marie McBride, Eimear McBrearty, Eimear McCole, Lucy Clarke, Teagan Coyle Carberry, Niamh McAleese, Una O’Donnell.Next up is a home match against St. Eunans next Saturday. The seniors lost out at Milford on Sunday on a Milford 2-8 0-8 Naomh Colmcille scoreline.The reserves unbeaten start to the season ended with defeat to Milford on Sunday.There are a limited number of season tickets now available for free entry to all adult Donegal club league and championship matches (excluding Naomh Colmcille home games). €30 for the ticket or €50 for the ticket and Donegal club gear. If you have not completed this course previously, please contact Breda ASAP to get numbers for a course in the coming weeks.The club is now registered for the Lucozade ‘Kit Out’ promotion. Codes are printed on promotional bottles under the plastic wrapper – please note these codes so they can be entered online on behalf of the club to try and collect gear or equipment.
